Several drivers shot over the top of turn two, searching for a cushion that wasnt there. One victim was Bud Kaeding who got over the top twice, qualifying 57th.

Fox led the distance in the six lapper. Parsons trailed him but was challenged by Clark, who in a final attempt to gain the second and final transfer to tag the tail of a heat, went over the turn four berm on the white flag lap. Most move forward were the result of simply staying on the track and not driving off of it.

Weir slammed into C. Smith in turn two during staging. C. Smith made repairs, but Weir was done for the night. The 10 lap heats inverted 8 and took 4 to the A. Carmichael Sr. led throughout. On lap three, contact between Sweet and Kruseman, who were battling for third, resulted in Kruseman spinning. The restart saw Carmichael Sr. leading C. Smith, Drake, Sweet and Fox. Fox was able to work into a transfer when Sweet got off the top of the track, ending a fine run for the local. Clayton and Wolfe were also victims of getting off the track.

Heat two (started): 1. Shane Cottle 10E (1) 2. Josh Wise 20 (5) 3. Hines 69 (7) 4. Jones 2B (8) / 5. Clauson 7c (6) 6. Brady Short 36 (2) 7. Matt Westfall 54 (3) 8. Kevin Briscoe 5 (4) 9. Parsons (9)

Short took the early advantage before Briscoe stopped with one lap complete. Cottle grabbed the lead after two laps were complete and led the rest of the way. Short spun out of contention on lap three after contact with Cottle. The incident collected Parsons, who was done. Clauson made a mad charge at Jones for the final transfer, but fell short.

Heat three (started): 1. Mat Neely 6 (2) 2. Justin Marvel 47 (4) 3. John Scott 83 (1) 4. Jonathan Vennard 4m (6) / 5. Gaines (9) 6. Critter Malone 7T (5) 7. Stanbrough 10 (7) 8. Hollingsworth 11s (8) 9. Casey Shuman 57 (3)

Neely dominated throughout. Stanbrough got over the top of turn two on the first go-around and never recovered. Vennard made a bid at Scott and looked strong, as did Marvel, but Neely was gone.

Heat four (started): 1. Michael Pickens 62 (1) 2. Darland 11 (8) 3. Derek Scheffel 2J (3) 4. Bart Grider 82G (6) / 5. Hagen 71 (7) 6. Petty (9) 7. AJ Anderson 34 (2) 8. Damion Gardner 50 (4) 9. Kevin Besecker 15 (5)

Pickens took the early lead when Anderson got over the top of turn two out of contention. Darland made the move of the race in turn four on lap six, blowing by a slowing Scheffel and Grider into second. Besecker and Gardner got upside down after contacting on lap eight. No one was hurt.

B main (started): 1. Hollingsworth (2) 2. Wolfe (1) 3. Hagen (4) 4. Kruseman (7) 5. Sweet (5) 6. Stanbrough (3) / 7. Besecker (9) 8. Briscoe (11) 9. Malone (8) 10. Westfall (12) 11. Gaines (19) 12. The 12 lapper saw the top six qualifying for the A main. Hollingsworth led flag to flag, with little room to pass. The middle groove was fast, and it was hard to pass high or low on the tight quarter mile. Kruseman did nicely to move up three spots, but it wasnt without contact. He and Malone contacted before a lap could be complete, and Malone stopped on the backstretch. Clauson was running sixth and battling Kruseman when the two contacted, breaking the youngsters front end and ending his night. Shuman and Parsons spun bringing out a yellow on the white flag lap.

A main (started): 1. Hines (1) 2. Darland (3) 3. Drake (2) 4. Jones (5) 5. Kruseman (12) 6. Hollingsworth (4) 7. Hagen (8) 8. Stanbrough (7) 9. Sweet (9) 10. Wolfe (6) 11. Scott (18) 12. Kaeding (23, pr.) 13. Vennard (10) 14. Marvel (14) &

Hines led throughout in the 30 lapper, but there was plenty of action behind him. C. Smith flipped before a lap could be completed after contact with Wise, who suffered a flat and was black-flagged for safety issues. Both would return later. Two laps later, Neely got upside down, when he checked up in turn four for a sideways Scheffel and Cottle. He was uninjured. The lap four restart saw Hines ahead of Drake, Darland, Hollingsworth, Jones and Stanbrough. Seven more laps were in the books when Hessert and Fox contacted, spinning the 56. Now Hines led Drake, Darland, Hollingsworth, Jones and a charging Vennard. Stanbrough had gotten over the cushion and dropped back a few spots. The same fate would get Vennard who had one of the fastest cars on the track. Kruseman sliced through traffic late, grabbing a top five finish, but Hines was the class of the field. Darland tried some moves late after grabbing second on lap 19, but it wasnt enough.
