Schatz picked up the win with the World of Outlaws Friday night at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Brian Brown nailed down win number five at Knoxville Raceway in Iowa Saturday night, while Scotty Thiel took the IRA stop at Angell Park Speedway in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin Sunday.
This week will see the WoO in action at Farley Speedway in Iowa for the first time since the 1990’s. Weekly action at Knoxville Raceway will resume again Saturday as well.
Brown continues to lead the Midwest Thunder Sprint Cars point standings ahead of Austin McCarl, Kerry Madsen, Brooke Tatnell and Davey Heskin. Justin Henderson, Matt Juhl, Jacob Patton, Terry McCarl and Cory Eliason round out the top ten.
So far, there have been nine winners in the twenty races contested with the Midwest Thunder Sprint Cars presented by Open Wheel 101!
