Maier grabbed the lead from the front row starters on the opening lap and dusted the field. Ball was the man on the move, working forward six spots and earning one of the berths to the A. Dussel exited on lap five.

Maeschen took the early advantage from Higday with a slidejob on lap one. The two went back and forth before Higday put a wicked slider on the leader and took the point for good on lap two. Wright and Stewart struggled to move forward on a track that was slick to the cushion.
Heat five (started, *qualified for feature, organization): 1. John Kearney 83B (1*, KNOX) 2. Brian Brown 21 (10*, ESTS) 3. Ricky Fauver 5sp (5*, NST) 4. Toby Chapman 20x (7, ASCS-M) 5. Wolters spun on the initial try at green and rejoined the field at the rear. Daggett outmuscled Kearney from the second row for the early lead. B. Brown was on a mission slicing through the field. Daggett was pulling away and trying to lap Wolters on lap six when the two made contact, sending the leader upside down in a hard crash. He was uninjured. Kearney inherited the lead and fended off the challenges of B. Brown. D. Brown lost his left rear on lap seven and retired. Droud was running fourth on the white flag lap when he blew his left rear tire.
Heat six (started, *qualified for feature, organization): 1. Johnny Anderson 7a (4*, KNOX) 2. Rager Phillips 9 (2*, SIA) 3. Nate Mosher 22N (1, SIA) 4. Jake Martens 48 (7*, ASCS) 5. Phillips took the point early before a lap two spin by Crank. He led J. Anderson, Mosher, Humston and J. Martin. Humston and Mosher battled before J. Martin slowed on lap eight to bring about another yellow flag. J. Anderson used the restart to shoot by Phillips for the win, while Martens used it to gain a couple of spots and an A main start.
Heat seven (started, *qualified for feature, organization): 1. Jake Peters 57x (1*, KNOX) 2. Jesse Giannetto D1 (7*, SIA) 3. Tony Bruce Jr. 18 (5, ASCS) 4. Billy Alley 22 (9*, ASCS-M) 5. Peters led the distance and was gone. Giannetto and Alley mounted charges worthy of A main points.
B main one (started): 1. Allison (1) / 2. Lewis (8) 3. Swenson (4) 4. Mosher (3) 5. Cook (5) 6. Peebles (10) 7. Ideus (13) 8. Parrish (7) 9. West (6) 10. Howland (9) 11. Chapman (2) 12. Carufel (11) 13. B. Wright (16) 14. D. Anderson (15) 15. D. Brown (14) 16. F. Brown (12) DNS - Jamison
Three 15 lap B mains took only the winner to the A main. Six provisionals filled out the 30 car field. Allison led the distance as he got more acclimated to Knoxville. Lewis made a nice run, but came up one spot short.
B main two (started): 1. Hall (1) / 2. Schneiderman (4) 3. Potter (6) 4. Brahmer (7) 5. Corbin (11) 6. Danley (8) 7. Schulz (12) 8. McAlister (2) 9. Sowell (5) 10. Dussel (13) 11. Milburn (3) 12. Heimbaugh (10) 13. Wolters (9) 14. Eastin (13) DNS - J. Martin, Daggett, Langerud
Hall took off, winning by over half a lap. McAlister was runner-up until the white flag lap when he blew a tire. Eastin spun before a lap could be completed.
B main three (started): 1. Bruce (1) / 2. Droud (11) 3. Stewart (5) 4. Humston (3) 5. Van Dusen (4) 6. Hafertepe (7) 7. Glennon (2) 8. Welsh (9) 9. Hinck (10) 10. Combs (15) 11. Mulheim (12) 12. Miller (8) 13. Crall (13) 14. Crank (14) 15. Yoakam (6) DNS - Wright
Bruce led the distance as rubber began to show, despite two slow downs. On lap four Crank came to a stop and exited. On lap six, Crall spun. Droud had moved up to second, but had nothing for Bruce on the restart.
A main (started): 1. Maier (3) 2. J. Anderson (5) 3. Beaver (1) 4. Michael (2) 5. Giannetto (4) 6. Alley (12) 7. R. Martin (19) 8. Ball (7) 9. Peters (10) 10. Swenson (26, pr.) 11. Hall (23) 12. Fauver (17) 13. Allison (22) 14. Higday (8) 15. Howland (29, pr.) 16. Bruce (24) 17. Martens (21) 18. Van Dusen (27, pr.) 19. Phillips (18) 20. Hinck (30, pr.) 21. Jennings (11) 22. Styres (15) 23. Carufel (25, pr.) 24. Mather (14) 25. Kearney (9) 26. Brown (6) 27. Maeschen (16) 28. M. Alexander (13) 29. J. Smith (20) 30. Milburn (28, pr.)
A melee halted things at the first try at green in the 20 lap (shortened from 30 because of track conditions) event. Alexander got sideways, collecting Milburn, Swenson, Bruce, Smith and Styres. Only Swenson, Styres and Bruce would continue. Maeschen was contacted by another machine in turn three on the next attempt and flipped. He was uninjured, but done. Beaver slid hard in front of Maier for the early advantage. Rubber had developed in the B, so the leaders held their line. Maier found rubber on the low side and shot by Beaver on lap five and never looked back. He has three wins at Knoxville, two 360 Nationals titles and this ToC win. Swenson came back earning hard-charger honors by moving up 16 spots. Brown exited on lap six. Kearney blew a left rear and made heavy contact with the wall later. Unofficial ToC team points:
