(Bill W) June 4, 2018, Monroe, IA – Three big winners caused a lot of movement in the point standings for the Midwest Thunder Sprint Cars presented by www.OpenWheel101.com! After rain canceled Wednesday’s World of Outlaws event at Fairbury (IL) American Legion Speedway, Jacob Patton won in MOWA Illinois Sprintweek action at Macon Speedway Thursday. Paul Neinhiser picked up his second win with the Midwest Thunder Sprint Cars Friday at Lincoln Speedway with MOWA. Saturday, Brian Brown registered his fourth win of the year, all at the Knoxville Raceway in Iowa.
Last Wednesday’s postponed WoO event at Fairbury will be run this Tuesday night, and will be the first of four point eligible events this week. The other three will occur at the AGCO Jackson Nationals Thursday through Saturday.
Brown’s win at Knoxville saw him jump back by Austin McCarl in the standings. The remaining current top ten drivers include Brooke Tatnell, Kerry Madsen, Davey Heskin, Jacob Patton, Justin Henderson, Matt Juhl, Terry McCarl and Joe B. Miller.
So far, there have been seven winners in the thirteen races contested with the Midwest Thunder Sprint Cars presented by Open Wheel 101!
