Chad Kemenah (14th car out to time) set the new standard at the newly re-configured 4/10-mile oval at 13.198 seconds.  Justin Henderson (16th car out) was second quick, followed by Kerry Madsen (21st), Matt Juhl (4th), Austin McCarl (10th), Lynton Jeffrey (20th), Brian Brown (19th), Parker Price-Miller (5th), Carson McCarl (1st) and Thomas Kennedy (13th).  Eric Schulz and Kevin Ingle did not get a time in.  The newly shaped track saw turns three and four pulled in.  The result is shorter straights and sweeping corners.  The pits are now outside turns one and two, and tall fences surround the track.  The camping area has also been manicured as well as many other updates.  Tonight, the track was rather heavy to start with, but lent to good racing come feature time, and no intermissions for track prep issues.  A big congratulations goes out to track owner Tod Quiring, general manager Doug Johnson and all the staff in Jackson!
