Two sets of qualifying were run.  Brad Sweet (10th car out to time) set quick time in the first group at 10.924 seconds.  Kerry Madsen (1st car out) was second quick, followed by Rico Abreu (13th), David Gravel (3rd), Donny Schatz (6th), Dusty Zomer (2nd), Matt Juhl (15th), Ian Madsen (7th), Tim Kaeding (5th) and Aaron Reutzel (11th).  Jacob Allen weighed in 20 pounds light and took a lap at the end of qualifying.  He was 13th quick.
 
Jason Johnson (6th car out to time) returned with his leg sore from a driveline incident the night before and set quick time at 11.019 seconds for the second group.  Daryn Pittman (9th car out) was second quick, followed by Paul Nienhiser (1st), Joey Saldana (13th), Paul McMahan (21st), Cory Mack (5th), Jason Sides (2nd), Mark Dobmeier (17th), Shane Stewart (15th) and Austin McCarl (14th).  Logan Schuchart continued the tough qualifying luck for the Shark team when it was deemed his nose wing was too far forward.  He also had to take a lap at the end and was 12th quick.  Doug Martens and Justin Henderson both scratched after qualifying.

Sweet was penalized a row from the pole for jumping.  Abreu led Schatz for the 10-lap distance.  Both earned Dash spots for their runs, while the top five locked into the feature.  A tough first lap saw Juhl lose position to both Kaeding and Riedel.

K. Madsen became the second pole-sitter in a row to be penalized a row for jumping.  Zomer took advantage, and led the distance.  I. Madsen passed his brother for third on lap two.  Reutzel was battling T. McCarl for the final transfer when he tagged the back wall and flattened his right rear on lap five.

J. Johnson led the distance.  Goerges brought out the lone caution with a lap two spin.  Sides passed McMahan for third on the restart.  Nienhiser stayed with the leader to earn a Dash spot.

Saldana led the distance, with Pittman applying pressure late.  Schuchart grabbed fourth from Co. Mack on the second lap.  Polyak battled late with Co. Mack and grabbed the final transfer.

Croaker led all 8 laps in a mostly single-file affair.
 
Dash (started): 1. Saldana (1) 2. Zomer (2) 3. J. Johnson (3) 4. Abreu (4) 5. Schatz (5) 6. Gravel (7) 7. Pittman (8) 8. Nienhiser (6)
 
Saldana led all 8 laps in a race with not much passing.

Co. Mack led the 12-lapper early over Juhl and Reutzel.  The biggest battle was for the fourth and final transfer.  Allen shot by A. McCarl for the spot on lap eight, but A. McCarl reclaimed it on lap nine in a good battle.  Reutzel snuck by Juhl for second on lap 11.

Saldana led Zomer and Abreu early in the 40-lapper.  Reutzel spun in turn three three laps in.  Saldana chose the inside line on the double-restart, ahead of Abreu, Zomer, Schatz, J. Johnson and Gravel.  Zomer shot back into second on the restart, but Rico would reclaim the spot on lap six.  Schatz started moving forward towards halfway and got by Zomer for third on lap 17.  Gravel followed him into fourth a lap later.  On lap 25, a three-way battle for the lead commenced between Saldana, Abreu and Schatz.  Rico grabbed it briefly when he slid Saldana, but by the time lap 26 came around, Schatz was the new leader.  Gravel picked up third from Abreu on lap 33.  A lap later, Reutzel brought the second and final caution with another spin.  He was sent pitside.  Schatz chose the inside line over Saldana, Gravel, Abreu, Sides and I. Madsen and would hold the lead the rest of the way for his twelfth win of the year worth $10,000.  Sides was the hard-charger.
