Des Moines, IA (February 7, 2018) – The TKS Motorsports #2KS is excited to announce Neumann Brothers Construction to their roster of sponsors for the 2018 season. The Troy and Tammy Renfro owned team is eager for the second full season with Austin McCarl behind the wheel, as they look to better on last season’s 3rd place finish in the Knoxville Championship Cup standings.
While this is not the first time that Neumann Brothers has been involved in sprint car racing, it is the first time that they have directly sponsored a race team. In business since 1912, Neumann Brothers is now in the third generation of family leadership and has provided quality construction services throughout their 100+ years of operations. Last year saw the company donate money and become the builder of the Bryan Clauson Suite Tower addition to the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum at Knoxville Raceway and led to a partnership with TKS Motorsports.
“The superintendent of the construction of the Bryan Clauson tower is Scott Parker, who wrenches on the TKS team and through him we’ve built a relationship with Troy over the last few years,” said Chad Bunner of Neumann Brothers. “It’s such a unique sport to be a part of and you can tell that Troy and the team have their heart in the car and the track and we’re very excited to be more involved.”
Chad also stated how great it was to be joining a team with such strong sponsors; “With it being our first-time sponsoring a car, it will be really fun to see the Neumann Brothers name on the car next to a great group of companies, especially Casey’s General Stores and Don Lamberti. It’s been great working with Don and Bob Baker at the Museum to get everything together for the Clauson addition.”
Austin McCarl and the TKS Motorsports #2KS will kickoff their season on April 7th, at 34 Raceway in West Burlington, IA. Check out the new TKS Motorsports website for the season schedule and more from the TKS team.
