(Bill W) January 31, 2018 – Wayne Johnson and the Two-C Racing #2c team will start a busy new year with their sprint car team this weekend with the All Star Circuit of Champions at Bubba Raceway Park in Ocala, Florida. The team, owned by Todd Carlile will try to fill their schedule with plenty of races this season.
Wayne, from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, is ready for a busy 2018. “We’re going to run way more 360 stuff than we will 410, but we’ll also be racing a lot more than we have the past couple years,” he says. “Todd has given us the green light to race and pick and choose.”
The team will spend at least the next three weekends in the “Sunshine State”. “We’re heading to Ocala to run the All Star deal this weekend (Thursday, Friday and Saturday),” says Wayne. “We’re going to stay busy in Florida. We’ll come back the next weekend at Ocala and run with USCS there. The USCS route would give us more races. Then the East Bay King of the 360’s is the following weekend.”
The schedule is TBD after East Bay. “Right now, we’re up in the air whether we’ll stick around and run some USCS shows, or we head to south Texas to run with the Outlaws,” says Wayne. “We’re just really looking forward to getting back to the track. We’ve been working hard to prepare and we’re ready to get going!”

The four wins were evenly split between 410 and 360 competition. In 2007, he won with USCS at the North Florida Speedway in Lake City. He beat the All Stars (with plenty of WoO in the house) at Volusia Speedway Park in 2008, beat the All Stars again at East Bay in 2009, before winning the “King of the 360’s” in 2010. He would return to East Bay and win the “King of the 360’s” again in 2014.
