Dusty Zomer (5th car out to time) set the standard in qualifying at 15.320 on the drying 1/2 mile. Davey Heskin (4th car out) was second quick, followed by Brian Brown (15th), Rager Phillips (2nd), Calvin Landis (11th), Travis Cram (1st), Seth Brahmer (3rd), Kaley Gharst (16th), Billy Alley (20th) and Mark Dobmeier (7th). Gall bladder surgery was the reason for the notable absence of Randy Anderson.

Weuve shot out to an early lead in the 8 lapper. Zomer was really the only car moving forward, and took the point on the low side on lap four. He pulled away despite a collapsed nose wing.

Antill took the early lead, cruising on the cushion. Gharst quickly entered the picture on the bottom and the pair battled, with Gharst taking a lap six lead.

Dover led early using the low line. Brown moved forward quickly and took the point on lap three. Jackson grabbed third from Logan on the last lap after a nice battle. Potter exited on lap four.
B main (started): 1. Garner (1) 2. Winters (2) / 3. Moore (3) 4. Pinegar (4) 5. Maeschen (5) 6. Potter (6) 7. Bell (7)
Garner was without peer in the 8 lapper. Winters was passed early by Moore, and Pinegar entered the three way battle for the final transfer. In the end, Winters would pull away from both.

Zomer jumped out to an early lead in the 16 lapper, but it was a small one as Heskin didn't lead his nerf bar. Zomer used the low line, while Heskin was high. On lap five, Heskin shot around Zomer to lead the next two laps. On lap seven, Heskin jumped the turn one cushion a bit, and surrendered the point back to Zomer. Three more laps were in the books when Jackson spun on the frontstretch while running 8th. Zomer led Heskin, Brown, Landis and Phillips back to green flag racing on the restart. Brown quickly slid Heskin, and Alley moved from 9th to 4th in three laps. On lap 13, Phillips took the scariest ride of the last few years down the frontstretch, annihilating his car and leaving little left. Initially he was ruled unhurt, but he later chose to go in to the hospital for a check-up. Prior to the red, Brown had challenged the leader on the high side. They were trailed on the restart by Heskin, Alley and Landis. The two leaders dueled for a lap before Brown edged ahead at the completion of the circuit. He pulled away for his third win in a row, and fifth of the year. Garner was the hard-charger, moving forward 12 spots.

Antill jumped out to an early lead and led the first half of the race ahead of Jackson. Winters exited on lap five, while running third. On lap nine, Dover's right rear tire blew while running ninth. The restart saw Antill and Jackson leading Jeffrey, Dobmeier and Garner. Antill has won four times on the back half of twin features, and tonight looked no different as he led the next two laps before Dover's right front tire left him and he headed pitside. Dobmeier, Jeffrey, Garner and Jackson now trailed the leader. Antill's motor sounded sour as Dobmeier shot under him on lap 13 to take the lead for good. The last stoppage came for Logan's flat left rear tire while running 7th on lap 14. Dobmeier led Antill, Jeffrey, Garner and Landis back to a two lap shootout. He held on for his first career Knoxville win, and ninth of the season overall. Jeffrey gained second on the final go-around. Dobmeier was also the hard-charger, moving forward 13 spots.

Mather led the 7 lap distance. Roberts applied intense pressure on the leader most of the way, coming up just short at the line. R. Hall gained fourth from Zoutte on the last go-around.

Dobesh led flag to flag, with the best racing happening between J. Hall and Selvage for fourth. Higday lost a cylinder on the last lap while running third. Coming in with the points lead, and with a chance to extend it with the absence of Jake Peters (off for some R&R), he was stymied for the night.

Mitrisin led early before a lap three spin by a second running Houseman Jr. Heskin, who was running fourth, couldn't avoid the spun car, and hurtled at speed into its rear. Heskin tumbled upside down, but was uninjured. Mitrisin led Walden, D. Hall, Ideus and Beaver back to green flag racing. D. Hall took over second, while Beaver and Heimbaugh moved up nicely as well.

Bakker drove flawlessly to dominate the 10 lapper. The only stoppage came on lap eight, when Thornburg came to a stop with a flat right rear. Schulz used the restart to pass his teammate, Schneiderman, for the final transfer.

Moro led the 12 lap non-stop event for the distance. D. Hall really had nothing for him. Hiembaugh did well to move up, as did the hard-charger Bakker who moved seven spots. Schulz exited on lap six.

The initial try at green eliminated four cars. Thompson folded his front end after contact with teh wall or another competitor and slid sideways in front of the field. R. Hall was collected, and both Schulz who flipped, and Moyer made heavy contact with the #29. Thompson tipped over as well. Once underway, Lenz led the first lap but at its completion, his motor blew sky high. Van Haaften inherited the lead over Ideus, Selvage, J. Hall and Mitrisin. Selvage took the point on the restart, sliding Ideus as well. He led until a lap four caution for Mitrisin, who lost his right rear. He restarted at the rear. On the restart, Ideus, who was running second, took the lead with a slider and never looked back for his first win ever at Knoxville. Beaver exited on lap eight. Moro was the hard-charger as the first feature winner surged 11 spots.
