Schmelzle led flag to flag in the 10 lapper on a narrow track.  Phillips seemed to be faster than Wasmund, but couldn't find a spot to get around him despite a lap seven stoppage for Shepherd.

Farrell led the first lap of 12.  Gharst went up in smoke on the second go-around, ending his night.  Howard's flat right rear on lap three slowed things again.  On that restart, Landis hit the cone sending him to the tail and setting up a restart with Farrell ahead of Heskin, Rilat, Winters and Hockett.  Five more laps were in the books when Garner flipped badly in turn four.  He was unhurt.  At the same time, Heskin, who was running in the second and final transfer, went to the pit area to repair a torsion arm.  Rilat assumed that spot and moved on to the C.

C main (started): 1. Lance Dewease 25 (4) 2. Justin Henderson D1 (6) / 3. Kerry Madsen 11H (11) 4. Jason Myers 14 (15) 5. Dean Jacobs 7K (3) 6. Jac Haudenschild 35 (12) 7. Greg Wilson w20 (5) 8. Kenny Jacobs 29 (19) 17. John Lambertz 12L (18) 18. Farrell (21) 19. Tayler Malsam 26 (14) 20. Jack Potter 15P (8) 21. Mark Dobmeier 13L (2) DNS - Skip Jackson 2

Dobmeier had the 15 lapper in command ahead of Dewease until something broke on his car and he flipped hard into the turn one wall on lap seven.  He was unhurt.  Dewease assumed the lead in front of Henderson, D. Jacobs, Wilson and Felmlee.  The top two remained the same, while Madsen could climb only as high as third, ahead of fellow hard-charger, Meyers.

B main (started): 1. Randy Hannagan 1x (1) 2. Shane Stewart 1HD (3) 3. Brian Brown 21 (10) 4. Tim Kaeding 10K (8) / 5. Daryn Pittman 21x (18) 6. Henderson (22) 7. Dewease (21) 8. Greg Hodnett 22 (6) 9. Danny Smith 4 (7) 10. Garry Lee Maier 11x (9) 11. Sam Hafertepe Jr. 15H (14) 12. Mark Smith 55s (13) 13. Dusty Zomer 1z (17) 14. Bronson Maeschen 96 (12) 15. Jeremy Campbell 10c (11) 16. Brian Paulus 28 (20) 17. Chad Kemenah 8K (2) 18. Brandon Wimmer 7TW (5) 19. Tony Bruce Jr. 18T (4) 20. Rob Chaney 24H (15) 21. Randy Martin 14m (16) 22. Toni Lutar 4x (19)

Hannagan led the 22 lapper throughout, but there was plenty of action behind him.  Stewart and Kemenah battled for second, with Kemenah holding down the spot early and Wimmer in fourth.  That was the order on lap 16, when Lutar spun with rear-end problems and R. Martin and Chaney exited.  Stewart was able to get under Kemenah with another lap complete and a Bruce stoppage slowing things again.  On lap 18, Wimmer tried to pass Kemenah and crashed both cars out of a transfer with the ill-fated slidejob.  Kaeding and Brown moved into the two final transfers, with Brown taking third on the restart.  Good runs from Pittman (18th to 5th), Henderson (22nd to 6th) and Dewease (21st to 7th) fell just short.

A main (started): 1. Donny Schatz 15 (1) 2. Joey Saldana 9E (8) 3. Terry McCarl 24 (6) 4. Craig Dollansky 7 (4) 5. Paul McMahan 20 (2) 6. Steve Kinser 11 (3) 7. Brooke Tatnell 2w (7) 8. Tim Shaffer 6 (5) 9. Jason Solwold R19 (14) 10. Jeff Shepard z1 (11) 11. Wayne Johnson 14AJ (9) 12. Danny Lasoski 83 (12) 13. Brown (23) 14. Lucas Wolfe 5w (15) 15. Hannagan (21) 16. Jason Sides 7s (13) 17. Dion Hindi 11D (19) 18. Don Droud Jr. 81 (20) 19. Ed Lynch Jr. 2L (17) 20. Jason Martin 36 (18) 21. Travis Cram 17G (16) 22. Stevie Smith 19s (10) 23. Stewart (22) 24. Kaeding (24)

Schatz shot out to the first lap lead in the 30 lapper.  On lap two, Cram got sideways and Kaeding had nowhere to go, crashing hard.  He was unhurt, but done.  Cram returned.  The red flag negated a pass for second by Dollansky and a pass for fourth by McCarl.  The restart saw Schatz ahead of McMahan, Dollansky, Kinser and McCarl.  Schatz pulled away agin until a lap 8 ignition problem for Stewart.  That restart saw Schatz ahead of McMahan, McCarl who had slid in front of Dollansky for third, and Saldana.  McCarl slid in front of McMahan on that restart, but couldn't run down Schatz who was entering lapped traffic on lap 13, when another slowdown occured when Cram hit the turn three wall.  By that time, Saldana had taken third from McMahan.  Only one more lap was in the books when the last stoppage came (an open red) for the flipping J. Martin.  He was unhurt.  Schatz had no peer on the restart as McCarl chased him in vain.  Eventually, Saldana was able to move into second, while Dollansky moved by for third.  McCarl came back on the final circuit to join the two-time winner and Saldana on the podium.  Brown was the hard-charger, moving up 10 spots.  The Best Dressed Crew was Chaney's followed by McMahan's and Bruce's.  W. Johnson was named Mr. Southern Iowa Speedweek Sprintcar.
