Wisconsin’s Bill Balog drove from seventh to win $5,000 in IRA action at Angell Park Speedway in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin Thursday. Brad Sweet and Donny Schatz won at Knoxville Raceway with the World of Outlaws. Chad Kemenah emerged victorious after a great battle with Balog Sunday night with the All Stars at 34 Raceway in West Burlington, Iowa.
Kerry Madsen still sits atop the season standings, ahead of Ian Madsen, Brian Brown, Sweet and Schatz. David Gravel, Tim Kaeding, Balog, Mark Dobmeier and Brooke Tatnell round out the current top ten.
Point eligible races with the Midwest Thunder Sprint Cars this week begin on Tuesday at Eagle Raceway in Nebraska with the World of Outlaws, Friday at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, North Dakota with the WoO, Saturday with the WoO at Red River Valley Speedway in Fargo, North Dakota, and weekly action at the Knoxville Raceway in Iowa Saturday.
