Heat one (started, *qualified for feature): 1. Josh Baughman 17 (2*) 2. Seth Bergman 23 (1*) 3. Tony Stewart 14 (4*) 4. Jonathan Cornell 28 (6*) 5. Brian Brown 21 (8*) 6. Harli White 17w (3) 7. Cody Ledger 35L (5) 8. Ian Madsen 18 (9) 9. Jake Greider 20G (7)
The 2/5-mile oval was prepared well. Though it was fast, there were multiple grooves. 8-lap heats used passing points to lock the top 16 into the feature. The first heat was arguably the stoutest. Baughman led the distance, ahead of Bergman and Stewart. Brown pressured Cornell in a good race. Madsen and Ledger traded seventh in another good battle.
Heat two (started, *qualified for feature): 1. Sam Hafertepe Jr. 15H (1*) 2. Johnny Herrera 45x (4*) 3. Jason Martin 36 (2*) 4. Jack Dover 53 (5) 5. Chris Martin 44 (6) 6. Jay Russell 76 (7) 7. Danny Thoman 27 (3) 8. Zach Davis 3z (9) 9. Alex Hill 77x (8)
Hill exited when the green fell. Hafertepe pulled away for a convincing win. Herrera took second from J. Martin on the third lap. Dover and C. Martin had a good battle for fourth.
Heat three (started), *qualified for feature): 1. Aaron Reutzel 87 (2*) 2. Chris Morgan 93 (4*) 3. Justin Henderson 1 (3*) 4. Danny Lasoski 33 (6*) 5. Wayne Johnson 2c (8*) 6. Kyle Bellm 14K (5) 7. Taylor Walton 12s (7) 8. JR Topper 92J (9) 9. Shayle Bade 49x (1)
Reutzel led flag to flag and won in convincing fashion. Lasoski and W. Johnson were the movers. W. Johnson pressured Lasoski in the end and appeared to have the faster car, but settled for fifth.
Heat four (started, *qualified for feature): 1. Matt Covington 95 (8*) 2. Terry McCarl 24 (5*) 3. Skylar Gee (2) 4. Blake Hahn 52 (3) 5. Jamie Ball 5J (9*) 6. Jeremy McCune 0J (6) 7. Andee Beierle 41A (7) 8. Mindy McCord 11 (1) 9. Craig Dollansky 88 (4)
The best heat of the night began with Dollansky jumping to the front, ahead of Gee and Covington, who charged up from eighth. Covington took second, and then McCarl moved into third on lap four. Covington gained on Dollansky and passed him at the white flag. Both leaders hesitated behind the lapper of McCord. Dollansky blew his right rear in three, ending his night. Covington went on to win as high point man.
