McCarl entered the fray, and after having the door shut on him by dad, was able to get by him for seventh on lap eight. Two laps later, he would spin out of the spot. The only caution of the race saw Herrera leading Max Dumesny, Brown, Schneiderman and Dobmeier back to green. Brown rode the rim to get around Max for second, while Schneiderman would follow him a lap later to secure a career-best finish. Herrera cruised to his 16th 410 win at Knoxville and $3,000. Jackson was the hard-charger. Brown leads Droud Jr. by one point in the standings.
