Ian Madsen (9th car out to time) set the standard in time trials at 11.239 seconds. Billy Balog (8th car out) was second quick, followed by Austin McCarl (14th), Travis Whitney (32nd), Jessica Zemken (35th), Davey Heskin (3rd), Scott Winters (27th), Mike Reinke (11th), Mark Dobmeier (30th) and Brooke Tatnell (6th). Tony Kaus failed to get a time in. Sid Blandford Jr. was late to the track and took one lap at the end of qualifying.

Heat one (started): 1. Dobmeier 13 (4) 2. Scott Biertzer 4B (2) 3. Scotty Neitzel 2w (3) 4. Zemken 14 (5) / 5. Madsen 55 (6) 6. Dave Uttech 68 (1) 7. Wayne Modjeski 14AJ (7) 8. Leigh Thomas 29 (8) 9. Brandon Thone 94 (9)

Biertzer led lap one, before Dobmeier took command with a slider on lap two and took off in the 10-lapper. Madsen made several attempts at the last transfer, including a "slide for life" with two to go, but Zemken held on.

Heat two (started): 1. Balog 17B (6) 2. Davey Heskin 56 (5) 3. Ty Bartz 46 (1) 4. Phillip Mock 1m (2) / 5. Ryan Wilson 18 (8) 6. Duane Olson 16x (9) 7. Tatnell 59 (4) 8. Steve Meyer 85m (3) 9. Matt Vandervere 10v (7)

Mock took command early and led through a spin by Olson on lap six. On the restart, Meyer did a 720 spin while running third. The restart saw Mock leading Tatnell, Balog, Bartz and Heskin back to green. Tatnell remained in second, until a flat tire sidelined him on the white flag lap. The green, white checker finish saw Mock ahead of Balog, Heskin, Bartz and Wilson. Balog slid under for the point on the restart, and Heskin and Bartz followed him by Mock, who held onto the last transfer.

Heat three (started): 1. Winters 23w (5) 2. Kris Spitz 4K (1) 3. John Sernett 91 (2) 4. Billy Hafemann 2B (3) / 5. Robby Wolfgang 7K (4) 6. McCarl 17A (6) 7. Sid Blandford Jr. 7 (8) 8. Bill Wirth 53w (7) 9. Scott Uttech 3K (9)

Spitz led early, running a lower groove than most on the 3/8. Winters advanced to second and then took the lead with a slider on the white flag lap. Wolfgang took fourth briefly from Hafemann on the last lap, but settled for fifth at the line.

Heat four (started): 1. John Haeni 21J (4) 2. Bill Warren 95 (2) 3. Whitney 16 (6) 4. Russel Borland 23 (1) / 5. Reinke 02 (5) 6. Jeremy Kerzman 1H (8) 7. Danny Heskin 19 (3) 8. Andy Hunt 9A (7) 9. Tony Kaus 3TK (9)

Warren led early. On lap four, Kaus spun bringing caution. Warren led Haeni, Borland, and Whitney and Danny Heskin, who were battling for the final transfer. On lap six, Haeni took the point, while Whitney advanced by Borland in a good battle.

B main (started): 1. Madsen (1) 2. Reinke (3) 3. McCarl (2) 4. Wolfgang (5) 5. Tatnell (4) 6. Modjeski (8) / 7. Wirth (10) 8. S. Uttech (18) 9. D. Uttech (7) 10. Danny Heskin (6) 11. Vandervere (9) 12. Thone (16) 13. Thomas (12) 14. Olson (17) 15. Hunt (11) 16. Kaus (19) 17. Kerzman (15) 18. Blandford Jr. (14) 19. Wilson (13) DNS – Meyer

Madsen led the entirety of the 15-lapper. Danny Heskin spun on the initial try at green. Three laps were in before Kaus spun. He would spin a second time later and head pitside. On lap five, Blandford had worked his way forward to battle for seventh when he tapped the frontstretch wall and lost control, driving straight out the pit entrance in turn one. They would find him unscathed eventually. A Vandervere spin added another caution. The best race occurred between Wolfang and Tatnell. Wolfgang had run as far back as sixth, but was able to pass Modjeski and Tatnell for fourth. The top two got their time spots (no better than 11th) back for the feature.

A main (started): 1. Winters (2) 2. Dobmeier (1) 3. Balog (6) 4. Madsen (11) 5. Biertzer (7) 6. Neitzel (9) 7. Warren (15) 8. Zemken (4) 9. Tatnell (21) 10. Reinke (12) 11. Whitney (5) 12. McCarl (19) 13. Haeni (10) 14. Wolfgang (20) 15. Mock (13) 16. Hafemann (8) 17. Spitz (17) 18. Modjeski (22) 19. Sernett (14) 20. Borland (18) 21. Davey Heskin (3) 22. Bartz (16)

Dobmeier shot out to a big lead early. Around lap ten, Bartz and Modjeski contacted. Bartz tried to continue on but spun right in front of Davey Heskin, who had been running second. The contact tipped Heskin over and damaged enough to retire. The restart saw Dobmeier in front, with two lapped cars separating he and Whitney, Winters, Zemken and Balog. The next fourteen laps in the 30-lapper went non-stop. Winters shot by Whitney into second and began his pursuit of Dobmeier, once back in traffic. His pass for the lead marked the first of five lead changes in ten laps. The pair traded the lead with sliders in traffic several times, but the good race was stymied on lap 24, with a caution. Winters led Dobmeier, Balog, Neitzel, Biertzer and a charging Madsen back to green. Two laps later, Wolfgang spun, and Sernett went to the work area for a new right rear. The last four laps were anticlimactic, as Winters held on. Madsen made a late charge into fourth. Tatnell was the hard-charger.

S. Eriksen led the 9-lap distance. One caution was thrown for Lutz who went up in smoke and stopped on lap six. Graf and Tatnell battled hard for third.

Heat two (started): 1. Jerry Richert Jr. 63 (1) 2. Leigh Thomas 29 (2) 3. Brad Barickman 34 (5) 4. Cody Hahn 23 (3) 5. Robby Wolfgang 7K (7) 6. Ronnie Erickson 62 (6) 7. Sye Anderson 37 (9) 8. Justin Giddings 81 (4) 9. Jenni Eriksen 10x (8)

Richert Jr. led flag to flag to cheers from the crowd. Barickman slammed into third with a slider on Hahn with two go.

Heat three (started): 1. Alan Gilbertson 97 (2) 2. Bill Boles 05 (5) 3. Charlie Cropp 21 (8) 4. Brandon Allen 77 (1) 5. Mark Toews 5T (6) 6. Troy Manteufel 5m (7) 7. Johnny Parsons III 12 (4) 8. Jim Kouba 8Y (3)

Jim Kouba contacted another car and collected Parsons III and Toews. Toews was the only one to return to action, sans nose wing. Toews would later push up the track contacting Allen, who flipped over the turn two wall. He was uninjured. Gilbertson led flag to flag.

Challenge one (started): 1. Gilbertson (8) 2. Goerges (4) 3. Graf (6) 4. Toews (3) 5. Thomas (7) 6. Hahn (5) 7. Erickson (2) 8. Nickel (1) 9. Giddings (10) 10. Cropp (11) 11. S. Eriksen (9)

The 11-lapper saw Erickson lead early. He would spin out of the lead on a lap three restart for S. Eriksen, who flipped hard down the frontstretch after contact with Nickel. He was uninjured. Graf and Towes battled hard for third.

Challenge two (started): 1. Wolfgang (4) 2. Tatnell (5) 3. Barickman (6) 4. Anderson (1) 5. Joseph Kouba (8) 6. Richert Jr. (9) 7. Craft (3) 8. Manteufel (2) 9. Boles (7) 10. Yetter (10) DNS – J. Eriksen

Wolfgang took the lead on lap one and looked to be cruising, until Tatnell made ground up and came up just short at the checkers. Manteufel got loose before a lap could be completed in an incident that also involved Craft, Boles and Richert.

A main (started): 1. Tatnell (6) 2. Richert Jr. (2) 3. Wolfgang (5) 4. Thomas (1) 5. Boles (11) 6. Anderson (12) 7. Joseph Kouba (3) 8. Toews (10) 9. Hahn (13) 10. Erickson (15) 11. Graf (7) 12. Gilbertson (8) 13. Goerges (9) 14. Giddings (17) 15. Manteufel (16) 16. Cropp (20) 17. Craft (14) 18. Barickman (4) 19. Nickel (18) 20. Yetter (19)

Yetter and Nickel contacted causing both to need a tow before a lap could get in. Barickman came to a stop and exited on the next try. The third time was the charm and Richert Jr. shot out to an early lead in the 20-lapper. A Gilbertson spin on lap five set up a restart that saw Richert ahead of Tatnell, Thomas, Graf and Wolfgang. That gave Tatnell a chance to grab a lead he would never relinquish. There was one more stoppage when Goerges took a hard ride in turn four. He was unhurt. Wolfgang came on late, running the cushion, and exchanged second with Richert twice before settling for a solid third. Boles was the hard-charger.
