(Bill W) April 3, 2017 – It’s time to go 410 sprint car racing this weekend, and the Midwest Thunder Sprint Cars presented by Open Wheel 101 schedule gets underway Friday in Jacksonville, Illinois and Saturday in West Burlington, Iowa!
On Friday, the MOWA series hits the ¼-mile high-banked bullring in Jacksonville for their opener. On Saturday, they will travel to the 34 Raceway in West Burlington, where they will be joined by the IRA. A handful of Knoxville Raceway regulars are also expected, in what should be a healthy car count on the racy 3/8-mile oval.
The two events are the first of over seventy races this year in which drivers will be eligible for the Midwest Thunder Sprint Cars presented by Open Wheel 101 point fund. The top fifteen drivers in each feature event will receive points toward the season ending cash!
