He was unhurt, and able to restart when Hafertepe flipped in turn three on the restart. Dollansky choose the inside line over Saldana, Darrah, McMahan, McCarl and Pittman on the restart. On lap nine, McCarl had moved by McMahan for fourth and hit the same hole Gravel did. He didn't get upside down, but spun over turn two and restarted at the tail. McMahan moved by Darrah into third when the green flew again. J. Johnson and Pittman battled for fifth on lap nine. When Pittman couldn't fit between the wall and J. Johnson, who was sliding up the track, he made contact with the 41 and bounced down the back straight. He was unable to restart. The final 21 laps went non-stop, and Dollansky was never touched, beating McMahan, who took second on lap 17, by almost a half lap. S. Kinser was the hard-charger.
