Two complete shows were run with the cars split into two groups of 32. Points are the name of the game, setting up Thursday’s “Joker’s Jackpot” paying $100,000 to win.

Group A Results

Rico Abreu (23rd car out to time) set quick time in the group and overall at 12.985 seconds on the .437-mile oval. Aaron Reutzel (27th car out) was second quick, followed by Carson Macedo (30th), Anthony Macri (7th), Donny Schatz (20th), Brad Sweet (6th), Corey Day (15th), Justin Peck (11th) and Buddy Kofoid (22nd) and Logan Schuchart (14th). Rico spun the “wheel of misfortune” and came up with a heat invert of seven.

Heat one (started) (10 Laps): 1. 32-Bryce Lucius[1]; 2. 15-Donny Schatz[6]; 3. 83JR-Michael Kofoid[5]; 4. 24-Rico Abreu[7]; 5. 1-Brenham Crouch[4] / 6. 15K-Creed Kemenah[2]; 7. 55-Chris Windom[8]; 8. 5TP-Travis Philo[3]

10-lap heats had an invert of seven, and took the top five to the feature. Lucius led Kemenah, Schatz, Kofoid and Crouch early. Abreu grabbed the fifth and final transfer on lap two, while Schatz moved into second after starting sixth. Kofoid claimed third on lap three, and on lap four, Abreu and Crouch took the final transfer spots from Kemenah.

Heat two (started) (10 Laps): 1. 50YR-Gary Taylor[2]; 2. 87-Aaron Reutzel[7]; 3. 23B-Devon Borden[1]; 4. 49-Brad Sweet[6]; 5. 1S-Logan Schuchart[5] / 6. 88-Tanner Thorson[3]; 7. 2MD-Darin Naida[8]; 8. 7S-Landon Crawley[4]

Taylor led wire to wire. Borden and Crawley followed with Reutzel grabbing fourth right away from the tail. Sweet was fifth. Crawley’s third place run ended when he stopped on lap six. Reutzel snatched second from Borden on the restart.

Heat three (started) (10 Laps): 1. 25-Daison Pursley[2]; 2. 16T-Cole Macedo[1]; 3. 23-Garet Williamson[4]; 4. 101-Kalib Henry[5]; 5. 2KS-Chase Randall[3] / 6. 14-Corey Day[6]; 7. 41-Carson Macedo[7]; 8. 70M-Henry Malcuit[8]

Pursley led a mostly single-file affair for the distance. Randall had to work to hold off Day for the final transfer.

Heat four (started) (10 Laps): 1. 3Z-Brock Zearfoss[1]; 2. 99-Skylar Gee[2]; 3. 39M-Anthony Macri[7]; 4. 13-Justin Peck[6]; 5. 24D-Danny Sams III[4]; 6. 11-Hunter Schuerenberg[5]; 7. 26-Zeb Wise[3]; 8. W20-Greg Wilson[8]

Zearfoss and Gee battled for the lead early ahead of Sams, while Macri jumped from seventh to fourth ahead of Wise. Peck shot by Wise on lap two for the final transfer. Macri got by Sames for third on lap three, and Peck followed him into fourth on lap five.

B main (started) (12 Laps): 1. 41-Carson Macedo[1]; 2. 11-Hunter Schuerenberg[3]; 3. 14-Corey Day[2]; 4. 88-Tanner Thorson[5] / 5. 26-Zeb Wise[8]; 6. 55-Chris Windom[9]; 7. 15K-Creed Kemenah[7]; 8. 5TP-Travis Philo[6]; 9. W20-Greg Wilson[12]; 10. 70M-Henry Malcuit[11]; 11. 2MD-Darin Naida[10]; 12. 7S-Landon Crawley[4]

The 12-lapper took the top four to the A main. Macedo led Schuerenberg and Day throughout. Crawley was fourth early, but Thorson got past for the spot on lap three. Crawley came right back and cruised by Thorson for the spot and it looked like he would transfer, before losing an advancing spot again, this time stopping with a rear-end issue.

A main (started) (25 Laps): 1. 1S-Logan Schuchart[2]; 2. 15-Donny Schatz[8]; 3. 49-Brad Sweet[6]; 4. 13-Justin Peck[4]; 5. 39M-Anthony Macri[7]; 6. 101-Kalib Henry[3]; 7. 41-Carson Macedo[21]; 8. 23-Garet Williamson[1]; 9. 11-Hunter Schuerenberg[22]; 10. 24D-Danny Sams III[12]; 11. 87-Aaron Reutzel[10]; 12. 2KS-Chase Randall[15]; 13. 83JR-Michael Kofoid[5]; 14. 24-Rico Abreu[9]; 15. 99-Skylar Gee[17]; 16. 88-Tanner Thorson[24]; 17. 3Z-Brock Zearfoss[18]; 18. 23B-Devon Borden[20]; 19. 32-Bryce Lucius[16]; 20. 25-Daison Pursley[14]; 21. 1-Brenham Crouch[11]; 22. 50YR-Gary Taylor[13]; 23. 14-Corey Day[23]; 24. 16T-Cole Macedo[19]

The features had a point invert of 10 after a spin on the “Wheel of Misfortune,” putting Reutzel outside row five as the high point man Williamson led from the pole early over Schuchart, Peck, Sweet and Henry. Cole Macedo tumbled down turn one three laps in. He walked away. Schuchart used the restart to take the lead, and on lap six, Peck and Sweet followed into second and third. Schatz entered the top five, getting by Henry on lap nine, and then got by Williamson for fourth. The top four mixed it up in wild fashion, scrambling things up, but it came to a close when Kofoid, who was running seventh, and Abreu, who was running eighth, had flats. Schatz jumped from fourth to second on the restart, but that was negated when Day had an incident and retired. Schuchart led Peck, Sweet, Schatz and Williamson back to green. Sweet and Peck traded second three times in four laps down the stretch. Schuchart entered lapped traffic with four to go, closing things up again. Schatz gained third from Peck on lap 24, and passed Sweet for second on the low side coming to the checkers behind Schuchart. Carson Mqcedo was the hard-charger.

Group B Results

Kerry Madsen (4th car out to time) set quick time in the group at 13.084 seconds. David Gravel (10th car out) was second, followed by Parker Price-Miller (2nd), Sheldon Haudenschild (7th), Emerson Axsom (24th), Tyler Courtney (9th), Kyle Larson (3rd), Kelby Watt (1st), Brian Brown (11th) and James McFadden (23rd).

Heat one (started) (10 Laps): 1. 1A-Jacob Allen[2]; 2. 19-Brent Marks[3]; 3. 9-Kasey Kahne[4]; 4. 21-Brian Brown[5]; 5. 55V-Kerry Madsen[7] / 6. 19H-Joel Myers Jr[8]; 7. 27-Emerson Axsom[6]; 8. 55T-McKenna Haase[1]

10-lap heats had an invert of 7 and took the top 5 to the feature. Haase was penalized a row for jumping. Allen led the distance. Kahne took third from Haase on lap two. Brown went from sixth to fourth on lap three. Madsen took the final transfer from Haase on lap four.

Heat two (started) (10 Laps): 1. 70-Kraig Kinser[1]; 2. 7BC-Tyler Courtney[6]; 3. 5-Spencer Bayston[4]; 4. 83-James McFadden[5]; 5. 2-David Gravel[7] / 6. 23J-Cale Thomas[3]; 7. 81-Lee Jacobs[8]; 8. 5T-Ryan Timms[2]

Kinser led wire to wire. Timms was second, ahead of Bayston, Courtney and McFadden. Courtney moved into third on lap two, and then took second from Timms on lap four. Timms slowed with engine issues with four to go. Gravel inherited a transfer spot at that point, then claimed fourth from McFadden on lap nine.

Heat three (started) (10 Laps): 1. 18T-Tanner Holmes[2]; 2. 57-Kyle Larson[6]; 3. 18-Giovanni Scelzi[5]; 4. 45-Landon Brooks[1]; 5. 9P-Parker Price Miller[7] / 6. 21H-Brady Bacon[4]; 7. 49X-Tim Shaffer[3]; 8. 16TH-Kevin Newton[8]

Holmes led the distance. Brooks was second early, while Larson went from sixth to third, ahead of Shaffer and Scelzi. Larson took second from Brooks on lap two, but couldn’t get by the leader. Scelzi and Bacon passed Shaffer for transfer spots early. Scelzi went on to pass Brooks for third on lap three. Price-Miller surged late, taking the final transfer from Bacon at the halfway point.

Heat four (started) (10 Laps): 1. 8-Cory Eliason[3]; 2. 42-Sye Lynch[5]; 3. 17-Sheldon Haudenschild[7]; 4. 1K-Kelby Watt[6]; 5. 29-Logan McCandless[2] / 6. 7T-Brett Brunkenhoefer[8]; 7. 25R-Jordan Ryan[1]; 8. 17B-Bill Balog[4]

Balog got into a slowing Ryan and tore the back side of his car off in a flip. He walked away, and both were done. Eliason assumed a front row starting spot and led flag to flag. McCandless was second early, but Lynch and Haudenschild moved by on lap two. Watt also passed him for fourth on lap six.

B main (started) (12 Laps): 1. 27-Emerson Axsom[1]; 2. 23J-Cale Thomas[3]; 3. 49X-Tim Shaffer[4]; 4. 5T-Ryan Timms[5] / 5. 19H-Joel Myers Jr[7]; 6. 55T-McKenna Haase[6]; 7. 25R-Jordan Ryan[8]; 8. 81-Lee Jacobs[9]; 9. 16TH-Kevin Newton[11]; 10. 21H-Brady Bacon[2]; 11. 7T-Brett Brunkenhoefer[10]; DNS - Bill Balog

Brunkenhoefer tipped over after contact with the turn one wall on the first lap. He was ok. Axsom led Bacon, Thomas, Shaffer and Timms early. Bacon’s second place run ended with he slowed on lap four. The four transfers were then set, with Timms grabbing the final one.

A main (started) (25 Laps): 1. 18-Giovanni Scelzi[1]; 2. 57-Kyle Larson[6]; 3. 7BC-Tyler Courtney[8]; 4. 2-David Gravel[7]; 5. 5-Spencer Bayston[13]; 6. 83-James McFadden[11]; 7. 19-Brent Marks[14]; 8. 42-Sye Lynch[2]; 9. 17-Sheldon Haudenschild[9]; 10. 8-Cory Eliason[15]; 11. 9P-Parker Price Miller[5]; 12. 5T-Ryan Timms[24]; 13. 1A-Jacob Allen[16]; 14. 21-Brian Brown[3]; 15. 1K-Kelby Watt[4]; 16. 9-Kasey Kahne[12]; 17. 27-Emerson Axsom[21]; 18. 18T-Tanner Holmes[17]; 19. 23J-Cale Thomas[22]; 20. 55V-Kerry Madsen[10]; 21. 45-Landon Brooks[20]; 22. 29-Logan McCandless[19]; 23. 70-Kraig Kinser[18]; 24. 49X-Tim Shaffer[23]

This 25-lapper was much cleaner than the first. Madsen, the high point getter in the group, had to change an ignition box before the start and started tail. Scelzi took off from the get-go and simply left the rest behind, with a lead sometimes approaching a half lap. Brown passed Lynch for second on lap two and Larson moved into fourth. Scelzi was already lapping cars on lap seven. Larson took third on lap eight, and Courtney also passed Lynch on lap 9 for fourth. Larson moved past Brown for second on lap 14, and Courtney followed with ten to go. Graven and McFadden moved into fourth and fifth on lap 17. There was no catching Scelzi at that point. Bayston was the hard-charger.
