Cars were divided into two groups with the first group making up heats one and two and the second group making up heats three and four. Chase Dietz (3rd car out to time) set quick time in the first group and overall on the half-mile at 15.953 seconds. Danny Dietrich (2nd car out) was second quick, followed by Billy Dietrich (1st), Tim Wagaman Jr. (9th) and Derek Hauck (5th). Chris Smith failed to get a time in. Anthony Macri (1st car out) was quickest in the second group, followed by Justin Whittall (13th), Brent Marks (4th), Emerson Axsom (14th) and Garrett Bard (2nd). Lance Dewease, who had issues in hot laps, and Dustin Baney did not get a time in.

8-lap heats took the top five to the feature, and the heat winner and the quickest qualifier (starting fourth) who finished in the top five into the redraw. Hauck led the distance and pulled away at the end. Lehman came from row four to take third from Dietz on lap two. M. Wagner followed him into fourth on lap four.

Zearfoss led early. L. Wagner took the point from him using the low side on lap two. Halligan grabbed the final transfer from Karklin on lap three, and D. Deitrich passed Wagaman for third on the last lap.

Walter won going away. Dewease started last and was in a transfer position on the first lap. He grabbed fourth on lap two from Borden. Borden dropped back to fifth, but resurged to third on lap three. Dewease came on late to pass Axsom for fourth.

The most drama happened before the 12-lapper. In staging, Snyder turned right and put Rahmer into the frontstretch wall and upside down. Both did not start. The top four transfers were decided on the first lap and never changed.

Walter led the 30-lapper early over Dietz, Marks, D. Dietrich and Macri. Macri used a slider in turn four to pass Dietrich for fourth on lap three. Dietz tagged the wall a couple of times on lap nine and Marks passed him for second. Macri followed into third on lap ten, and D. Dietrich went to fourth on lap 12. Marks reeled in Walter in traffic and passed him for the lead on lap 14. L. Wagner entered the top five on lap 15 before a slowing Bishop brought the only caution of the event at the halfway point. D. Dietrich grabbed third from Walter on the restart. L. Wagner followed him into fourth on lap 18. Macri was running low and Marks high. Macri used a slider in turn four to take the point for good with 11 to go and earn $10,000. Lehman turned in a good run, getting in the top five on lap 24, and L. Wagner cruised under D. Dietrich to take third with five to go. Wolfe was the hard-charger.
