Austin McCarl led the distance. Zomer got above the cushion and lost several spots right away, suffered mechanical issues, dropped out on lap four and was done for the night.

Heat three (started, *qualified for feature): 1. 8H-Jade Hastings[2*]; 2. 11M-Brendan Mullen[7*]; 3. 14H-Scott Winters[1*]; 4. 83JR-Sam Henderson[6*]; 5. 17B-Ryan Bickett[9]; 6. 44-Chris Martin[5]; 7. 96-Blaine Stegenga[8]; 8. 22W-Aaron Werner[10]; 9. 87-Aaron Reutzel[3*]; 10. 83-Justin Henderson[4*]

Winters led early over Hastings, Reutzel and Henderson.  Henderson got by Reutzel for third on lap four, while Hastings took the lead from Winters. Henderson exited on lap five. Reutzel broke a rear axle on lap seven while running third. Ch. Martin spun to avoid while running fourth, and had to restart at the tail. Mullen grabbed second from Winters on the restart. Both Reutzel and Henderson had enough qualifying points to make the A.

The 10-lapper took the top two to the A. Snyder led the distance. J. Martin passed Nellis for third on lap two, but could never seriously challenge Goos for the transfer spot.

B main two (started): 1. 44-Chris Martin[2]; 2. 22-Riley Goodno[3] / 3. 17B-Ryan Bickett[1]; 4. 64-Andy Pake[5]; 5. 96-Blaine Stegenga[4]; 6. 22W-Aaron Werner[6]; 7. 33B-Scott Broty[8]; 8. 55-Brandon Allen[7]; 9. 78-Bill Wagner[9]

Bickett was penalized a row for jumping the start. Ch. Martin led from there. Goodno inherited the pole and held onto the final transfer in a mostly single-file event.

A main (started): 1. 3-Tim Kaeding[1]; 2. 2KS-Chase Randall[3]; 3. 25-Daison Pursley[4]; 4. 22K-Kaleb Johnson[2]; 5. 23-Garet Williamson[5]; 6. 88-Austin McCarl[9]; 7. 14T-Tim Estenson[8]; 8. 13-Mark Dobmeier[17]; 9. 27-Carson McCarl[10]; 10. 16-Brooke Tatnell[20]; 11. 87-Aaron Reutzel[18]; 12. 8H-Jade Hastings[7]; 13. 55M-Kerry Madsen[6]; 14. 11M-Brendan Mullen[16]; 15. 44-Chris Martin[22]; 16. 14H-Scott Winters[12]; 17. 24T-Christopher Thram[15]; 18. 17G-Lee Goos Jr[23]; 19. 4-Cameron Martin[11]; 20. 22-Riley Goodno[24]; 21. 81-Stuart Snyder[21]; 22. 5G-Gage Pulkrabek[13]; 23. 83JR-Sam Henderson[19]; 24. 83-Justin Henderson[14]

Kaeding led early in the 25-lapper over Randall and Johnson. Pursley, who was a surprise winner Sunday used the low side to get past Johnson into third on lap two. On lap three, J. Henderson flipped coming out of turn four ending a tough night for him. He was unhurt, but done. S. Henderson and Pulkrabek were collected, but made repairs in the work area and continued. Once green again, Kaeding got to lapped traffic on lap nine. Randall stayed within striking distance and on lap 19 passed the leader in traffic. The pass was negated, however, by a Madsen spin that brought caution. Kaeding pulled away in clean air in the six-lap dash to the checkers in his first win at Huset’s since September of 2020. He collected $5,000 and was emotional in victory. Randall picked up an extra $1,000 from TKW Transport for being the highest finishing driver who raced at Knoxville Saturday. Tatnell was the hard-charger.
Monty FerrieraMonty Ferriera IMCA Racesavers

Heat one (started): 1. 45-Monty Ferriera[1]; 2. 67-Dan Carsrud[3]; 3. 19B-Jack Berger[2] / 4. 18-Tyler Rabenberg[7]; 5. 15-Laela Eisenschenk[5]; 6. X-Dylan Waxdahl[4]; 7. 69-Mike Moore[8]; 8. 18E-Corbin Erickson[6]

8-lap heats were inverted according to IMCA points and took the top three to the A main. Ferriera led the distance and won by a good margin. Rabenberg grabbed fourth from L. Eisenschenk on lap three, but fell one spot short. It wouldn’t be his last charge of the night.

Heat two (started): 1. 3K-Jeremy Kerzman[1]; 2. 1-Amelia Eisenschenk[2] 3. 23-Brandon Bosma[5] / 4. 03-Shayle Bade[6]; 5. 7L-Jesse Lindberg[4]; 6. 80P-Jacob Peterson[7]; 7. 23L-Aydin Lloyd[3]

Kerzman led wire to wire. Bosma moved up nicely into third on the first lap. Bade passed Lindberg for fourth on lap two.  Lloyd, who crewed for David Gravel the last couple of years got into the turn four wall and flipped as the checkers were displayed. He was unhurt, but done for the night.

Heat three (started): 1. 81-Jared Jansen[4]; 2. 34DD-Brady Donnohue[6]; 3. 91-Andrew Sullivan[2] / 4. 23V-Michalob Voeltz[3]; 5. 2D-Dusty Ballenger[7]; 6. 17D-Dillon Bickett[5]; 7. 28G-Gracyn Masur[1]

G. Masur spun in turn one when the green fell and restarted at the tail. Jansen led early over Sullivan, Voeltz and Donnohue. Donnohue claimed third from Voeltz on lap four, while D. Ballenger moved into fifth. Donnohue then used the cushion to pass Sullivan for second with two to go.

Heat four (started): 1. 13MJ-Brandon Halverson[6]; 2. 48-Cole Olson[2]; 3. 15V-Cole Vanderheiden[7] / 4. 13G-Gaige Weldon[4]; 5. 28-Nicholas Winter[5]; 6. 35-Jeff Lackey[8]; 7. 62J-Jay Masur[1]; 8. 12L-John Lambertz[3]

Olson led early over Halverson, who jumped to second right away, J. Masur and Lambertz. With a lap in the books, Lambertz was attempting a pass of Masur and hit his left front with his right rear, sending him tumbling in turn two. He was unhurt, but both  were done for the night. Halverson sized up Olson and passed him for the lead high in turn four on lap three. Vanderheiden, who won here Sunday, passed Winter for fourth on lap four, and put a slider on Weldon on lap seven to claim the final transfer.

Heat five (started): 1. 17V-Casey Abbas[2]; 2. 6B-Bayley Ballenger[4]; 3. 32-Trefer Waller[6] / 4. 3J-Jeridan Jordahl[3]; 5. 31-Koby Werkmeister[7]; 6. 3-Jeremiah Jordahl[1]; 7. 14-Nick Barger[5]

Abbas led throughout. Jeremiah Jordahl was second early, but B. Ballenger took that spot on lap three. On lap four, Waller followed her into a transfer.

B main one (started): 1. 18-Tyler Rabenberg[1]; 2. 03-Shayle Bade[2]; 3. X-Dylan Waxdahl[6] / 4. 15-Laela Eisenschenk[4]; 5. 23V-Michalob Voeltz[3]; 6. 7L-Jesse Lindberg[5]; 7. 18E-Corbin Erickson[10]; 8. 69-Mike Moore[9]; 9. 80P-Jacob Peterson[7]; 10. 17D-Dillon Bickett[8]; DNS - 23L-Aydin Lloyd

The 8-lapper took the top three to the A main.  Rabenberg dominated this one with Bade securing second. L. Eisenschenk held the third and final transfer for six laps. Waxdahl moved by Lindberg for fourth on lap two and L. Eisenschenk with two to go to gain the final ticket to the show.

B main two (started): 1. 13G-Gaige Weldon[1]; 2. 2D-Dusty Ballenger[3]; 3. 3J-Jeridan Jordahl[2] / 4. 31-Koby Werkmeister[5]; 5. 28-Nicholas Winter[4]; 6. 3-Jeremiah Jordahl[6]; 7. 14-Nick Barger[9]; 8. 28G-Gracyn Masur[7]; 9. 35-Jeff Lackey[8]; DNS - 62J-Jay Masur, 12L-John Lambertz

G. Masur spun and collected Lackey before a lap could get in. Lackey was done. Weldon led wire to wire as the top three did not change.

A main (started): 1. 45-Monty Ferriera[1]; 2. 3K-Jeremy Kerzman[2]; 3. 18-Tyler Rabenberg[16]; 4. 17V-Casey Abbas[5]; 5. 1-Amelia Eisenschenk[3]; 6. 48-Cole Olson[4]; 7. 34DD-Brady Donnohue[9]; 8. 19B-Jack Berger[11]; 9. 67-Dan Carsrud[6]; 10. 23-Brandon Bosma[12]; 11. 81-Jared Jansen[7]; 12. 13MJ-Brandon Halverson[10]; 13. 15V-Cole Vanderheiden[14]; 14. 32-Trefer Waller[15]; 15. 03-Shayle Bade[18]; 16. 13G-Gaige Weldon[17]; 17. 6B-Bayley Ballenger[8]; 18. 91-Andrew Sullivan[13]; 19. 2D-Dusty Ballenger[19]; 20. X-Dylan Waxdahl[20]; 21. 3J-Jeridan Jordahl[21]

The 20-lapper went non-stop. Ferriera led A. Eisenschenk, Kerzman, Carsrud and Abbas early. Abbas moved into fourth on the low side on lap three. Ferriera was into lapped traffic by lap 12. Kerzman used the low groove to get by A. Eisenschenk for second with seven to go. Meanwhile, Rabenberg had moved from row eight up to the top five. Abbas rolled into third on lap 16. Rabenberg’s charge concluded with a pass of Abbas for third. Things got exciting late when Kerzman passed Ferriera on the low side to lead lap 19. Ferriera, a transplanted Californian, roared around the top of one and two on the last lap to take the lead back and gain his first win at Huset’s.
