Saturday was one of my favorite evenings at Eagle Raceway as Mom’s Popcorn, Empire Fence and Twin Rivers presented Junior Fan Club Night. Seeing that long line of our younger fans, jumping up and down and cheering at the thought of getting to ride in an actual race car around the high banks of America’s Home Track was a sight to see. Then, watching as they made a lap around the track with huge smiles on their faces warmed my heart.
There were no serious incidents in the preliminary racing.
Remember that there are just 2 more nights of regular season racing left this season, 5 classes are still in heated points battles with 3 of them having 15 or less points between the top 2 spots you won’t want to miss a single night!
Next week is Back To School Bash, presented by Pepsi, Empire Fence and the Nebraska Lottery.
After the races are concluded there will be the fan favorite Bus Demolition Derby.
Front gates open at 5:15 with adult front gate admission is $15, youths 6-12 are just $5 and children 5 and under are free. All 5 classes will be competing including the Twin Rivers Sprint Cars, Nebraska Lottery Modifieds, Avid Realty SportMods, A1 Iron Stock Cars & Valentino’s Hobby Stocks. Track, State, Regional & National Points for all classes.
