Two flights of qualifying featuring one lap, saw Ayrton Gennetten (10th car out to time) set quick time in the first group and quick time overall at 10.830 seconds.  Kasey Kahne (4th car out) was second quick in the first group, followed by Garet Williamson (9th), Brendan Mullen (12th) and Riley Goodno (6th).  Christopher Thram (11th car out) was quickest in the second group, followed by Chase Randall (10th), Jade Hastings (5th), Brooke Tatnell (7th) and Austin McCarl (16th).

Heat one (started): 1. Tyler Drueke 12 (1) 2. Williamson 24 (3) 3. Tim Kaeding 3 (6) 4. Goodno 22 (2) 5. Gennetten 14H (4) / 6. Justin Henderson 83 (5) 7. Brant O’Banion 47 (7) 8. Blake Egeland 26 (8)

10-lap heats sent the top five to the feature.  Drueke led the distance over Willamson.  Kaeding used the low side on the white flag lap to nab third from Goodno, while Gennetten held off Henderson for the last transfer.

Heat two (started): 1. Kahne 9 (4) 2. Mark Dobmeier 13 (2) 3. Kerry Madsen 5 (7) 4. Kalib Henry 10 (1) 5. Ryan Bickett 17B (6) / 6. Mullen 11m (3) 7. Zach Omdahl 17 (8) 8. Tim Estenson 14T (5)

Dobmeier led Kahne and Henry early.  Estenson biked while running fourth on the second lap, and Mullen and Madsen raced by.  Madsen passed Mullen low on lap three for fourth, salvaging a poor qualifying lap.  Estenson then slowed and exited at the halfway point.  Dobmeier had taken the lead, but Kahne regained it on the restart.  Madsen gained third from Henry on the white flag lap.

Heat three (started): 1. A. McCarl 88 (2) 2. Matt Juhl 09 (1) 3. Hastings 8H (3) 4. Ryan Timms 5T (6) 5. Thram 24T (4) / 6. Kaleb Johnson 22K (5) 7. Cody Hansen 4 (7) 8. Cody Ihlen 105 (8)

Austin McCarl led the distance ahead of Juhl and Hastings.  Timms used the low side of turn four to pass Johnson for the final transfer at the halfway point.  He then passed Thram on the high side of four with two to go for fourth.

Heat four (started): 1. Dusty Zomer 3J (1) 2. Carson McCarl 6 (2) 3. Randall 9R (4) 4. Tatnell 16 (3) 5. Brian Brown 21 (5) / 6. Ian Madsen 2KS (6) 7. Chris Martin 44 (7) 8. Gage Pulkrabek 5G (8)

C. McCarl led early ahead of Zomer and Randall.  Zomer used the high groove, which was improving to pass for the lead on lap two.  Pulkrabek spun soon after.  The top five stayed the same.

B main (started): 1. Henderson (3) 2. O’Banion (5) 3. I. Madsen (4) 4. Martin (8) / 5. Estenson (9) 6. Hansen (7) 7. Ihlen (10) 8. Pulkrabek (11) 9. Omdahl (6) 10. Mullen (1) DQ (crossed first) Johnson (2) DNS – Egeland

In the 12-lapper, Johnson led I. Madsen, Mullen and Henderson early.  Henderson was by Mullen on lap two, but that was negated by a Pulkrabek spin.  He used the restart to repeat the move.  Mullen exited, handing fourth to O’Banion.  Henderson shot by I. Madsen with two to go for second, and O’Banion followed into third.  Martin won a good battle with Estenson for fifth, which would prove to be the final transfer, when Johnson, who dominated the race was DQed.

A main (started): 1. Williamson (2) 2. C. McCarl (6) 3. Kahne (8) 4. Randall (4) 5. A. McCarl (7) 6. Juhl (10) 7. Dobmeier (9) 8. Timms (17) 9. Goodno (14) 10. K. Madsen (18) 11. Tatnell (13) 12. Thram (12) 13. Henderson (21) 14. Martin (24) 15. Brown (19) 16. Gennetten (11) 17. Zomer (5) 18. I. Madsen (23) 19. Henry (15) 20. Bickett (20) 21. Hastings (2) 22. O’Banion (22) 23. Kaeding (16) 24. Drueke (1)

The 25-lapper saw Drueke spin and slide backwards into the turn two wall.  He bounced off and kept going, but retired after losing his rear bumper.  Hastings took off from the front row ahead of Randall, Williamson, C. McCarl and Kahne.  On lap two, Zomer made a move from sixth to fourth before Kaeding flipped in turn four.  He was uninjured.  Somehow, Randall had his nose wing damaged.  It would affect him the rest of the way.  Williamson passed him for second on the restart, then Zomer took third from him on lap four.  Hastings was entering lapped traffic on lap six when Gennetten slowed with a flat bringing a caution.  Hastings led Wilimason, Zomer, Randall and C. McCarl back to green.  C. McCarl snagged fourth from Randall, and then Kahne took fifth.  Hastings built another big lead and was in traffic on lap 11, when he caught a rut and slowed in turn three.  Williamson and Zomer got by for first and second.  In turn one, Zomer got sideways, collecting Hastings, who exited.  Rain began to fall, but it slowed after a few minutes.  The cars stayed on the track and the race resumed with Williamson leading C. McCarl, Kahne, Randall and A. McCarl.  That’s exactly how the last 14 laps would finish.  Williamson approached lappers on lap 16 and rubber developed with everyone in line to the end.  It was Garet’s first win at Huset’s.  Martin was the hard-charger.

8-lap heats took the top four to the feature.  Passing was tough early in the night, with the low groove being superior.  Bade did made a move on Ryan into third on lap four.

Heat two (started): 1. Madison Miller 28M (2) 2. Sam Henderson 35 (4) 3. Bayley Ballenger 6B (3) / 4. Koby Werkmeister 31 (5) 5. Lee Goos Jr. 17 (7) 6. Jackson Weber 97 (8) 7. Monty Ferriera 45 (6) DQ (crossed third) Brayden Wiese 1B (1)

Waller led the distance over Rabenberg.  Snow ran third until Serbus used a diamond move in one and two on the last lap to get by him.  Bosma was the lone driver to try the top side to no avail.

B main one (started): 1. Goos (2) 2. Jansen (1) / 3. Lambertz (3) 4. Russell (5) 5. Ferriera (7) 6. Weber (4) 7. Winter (6) 8. J. Masur (9) 9. Wiese (8)

The 8-lapper took the top two to the feature.  Goos and Jansen stayed in those spots.  Wiese spun on lap two and stopped on lap six, ending his night.

B main two (started): 1. Stegenga (3) 2. Pointer (6) / 3. Bosma (4) 4. Rustad (1) 5. Domagala (7) 6. Carsrud (2) 7. G. Masur (8) 8. Erickson (5)

Rustad led early over Stegenga and Carsrud.  Stegenga took the lead on the low side of turn two on lap two.  Pointer was on the move and was fourth by the second lap.  He took third from Carsrud on lap three and the final transfer from Rustad on lap four.  On lap five, Carsrud and Erickson came together, collecting Domagala.  G. Masur got over the left front of Carsrud, who spun and collected Domagalal again.  Bosma moved up to third, but couldn’t threaten for a transfer.

A main (started): 1. Rabenberg (2) 2. Serbus (11) 3. D. Ballenger (8) 4. Waller (5) 5. Nellis (10) 6. Vanderheiden (15) 7. Henderson (9) 8. Jansen (19) 9. Pake (7) 10. Ryan (13) 11. Stegenga (18) 12. Pointer (20) 13. Goos Jr. (17) 14. Peterson (1) 15. Miller (4) 16. Snow (16) 17. Bade (12) 18. Werkmeister (14) 19. Nestrick (3) 20. B. Ballenger (6)

A scary incident led off the 20-lapper when Nestrick spun to face the whole field in turn one.  B Ballenger could not avoid, hit him head on and both turned over.  Stegenga, Snow and Werkmeister were collected, but those three continued.  Rabenberg led Peterson and Miller early before Bade spun, collecting Werkmeister.  Both were done.  Rabenberger shot out to the point again trailed by Peterson.  Waller got by Miller for third, and then got by Peterson for second.  D. Ballenger was on the move as well, taking third from Peterson on lap five.  Rabenberg’s big lead was negated when Pake spun on lap six.  Serbus made a big move on the restart, going from fourth to second, with D. Ballenger getting by Waller for third in a three-wide battle for second.  Snow slowed and exited bringing another caution on lap eight.  The lead trio would not change the rest of the way despite cautions for a spun Miller, who was running seventh, Goos who was running ninth and Stegenga, who was running eighth.  It was Rabenberg’s first win at Huset’s.  Jansen was the hard-charger.
