Two and a half inches of rain left the track with some obstacles, but at the end of the night, it was all worth it, with Wayne Johnson taking home over $59,000 in a great race.

W. Johnson was locked in from Friday night and if he could sweep, he would win a $50,000 bonus. Lap money saw each lap pay $50 for the leader, $30 for second and $20 for third to add to the purse. The win was worth $5,000. W. Johnson drew a six. Zomer led Shcneiderman and W. Johnson jumped to third on the first lap. Hahn jumped the cushion, tagged the wall and flipped hard on lap two. Madsen also got into the wall. Both retired. W. Johnson shot by Schneiderman into second on the restart, but was passed by J. Johnson a lap later. With 8 laps in the books, Loyet and T. Kennedy were running sixth and seventh when they made contact on the frontstretch and suffered too much damage to continue. Zomer led J. Johnson, W. Johnson, Schneiderman, Bruce and a charging Brown. Brown slid in front of Bruce on lap nine. Bruce jumped the turn one cushion and got upside down, bringing another red. Five laps later, Brown would suffer the same fate while running fourth. Schneiderman also had issues and went pitside. An open red was called. Zomer led J. Johnson, W. Johnson, Lasoski and Herrera back to green. W. Johnson worked on J. Johnson hitting the high side. He would shoot by for second on lap 16. Lasoski worked for third on lap 17. W. Johnson hit the high side and pulled alongside Zomer on lap 22. He shot by on lap 24, and held on to win the big cash. Lasoski got by Zomer late in traffic for second. Last year’s Fall Brawl sweeper, Dover, was the hard-charger. Billy Alley won the ASCS-Midwest title.
