Cummins led the distance. Westfall nailed down second for the duration as well. Thorson got by Stockon for third on lap two, but Stockon got back around on the following circuit in a great battle. Thorson would fight back and root under Stockon forcing him up the track to secure the spot. Grant would add insult to injury for Stockon by passing him on the last lap for fourth.

10-lap heats were action packed, and took the top four to the feature. Cottle led this one early over Spencer, Bacon and Rogers. J. Swanson rode the high side around Rogers for the fourth and final transfer on lap three. Bacon shot by Spencer for second on lap four. Both Rogers and J. Swanson passed Spencer for third and fourth in tight action on lap five. Bacon, who had been running middle to low, hit the far high side of turns three and four and came down the hill to storm into the lead on the final lap to win it. McDougal dug deep and passed J. Swanson for the last transfer, flying by from the high side of turn four at the checkers.

Gansen led early over Beauchamp, Fox and C. Cottle. By lap two, Leary was into the fop four, and two laps later, Thomas joined him by driving in a pack from fifth to third. By lap five, Gansen still led Thomas, Beauchamp and Leary. Thomas would shot by to win on the white flag lap.
Heat four (started): 1. Brandon Mattox 28 (2) 2. Seavey 5 (6) 3. Robert Ballou 12 (4) 4. Bodine 39BC (5) / 5. Carson Short 2E (3) 6. Max Guilford 79BT (8) 7. Eddie Tafoya Jr. 51T (1) 8. Harley Burns 16 (7) 9. Gabriel Gilbert 10G (9) DNS – Shey Owens 17s, Ryan Bond 7R
Tafoya led Short, Mattox and Ballou on lap one. Mattox found some momentum on the second lap, and led Ballou Short and Seavey at the end of it as Tafoya was shuffled back with a bobble in three and four. Seavey passed Short for third on lap three, and then took the high side around Ballou for second on lap seven. On lap eight, Bodine secured a transfer by passing Short.
C main (started): 1. Cromwell (1) 2. Hopkins (3) 3. Guilford (2) 4. Cockrum (5) / 5. Meseraull (4) 6. Scott (12) 7. Gilbert (8) 8. Edwards (9) 9. Banales (6) 10. Clodfelter (11) 11. Je. Swanson (10) 12. Gaines (7)
The 10-lapper took the top four. Not many notes here as I watched from the ice cream line, a must at Putnamville.
B main (started): 1. Windom (2) 2. Short (6) 3. Ja. Swanson (1) 4. Stockon (4) 5. Spencer (7) 6. Sussex C(14) / 7. Johnson (13) 8. C. Cottle (5) 9. Davis (9) 10. Tafoya (8) 11. Fox (3) 12. Cockrum (18) 13. Hopkins (16) 14. Cromwell (15) 15. Guilford (17) 16. Burns (12) 17. McDonald (10) 18. D’Alessio (11)
The 12-lapper took the top six to the tail of the A. Windom led the distance, but there was action behind him. Sussex had to work from row seven to gain the final transfer riding the cushion on lap four. D’Alessio spun five laps in, setting up a restart that saw Windom leading Ja. Swanson, Short, Stockon, Spencer and Sussex. Short gained second on the restart, while Johnson made a late bid for a transfer, getting by Sussex on lap seven, only to fall just short a lap later and at the finish in a great battle.
A main (started): 1. Thorson (6) 2. Windom (9) 3. Leary (3) 4. Thomas Jr. (5) 5. Seavey (4) 6. McDougal (2) 7. Ja. Swanson (10) 8. Grant (12) 9. Sussex (21) 10. Rogers (11) 11. Bodine (1) 12. Stockon (13) 13. Cummins (8) 14. Beauchamp (15) 15. Ballou (14) 16. Spencer (19) 17. Westfall (17) 18. Mattox (7) 19. Short (16) 20. Gansen (20) 21. S. Cottle (18) DNS – Bacon
The 30-lapper started with a shocker has Bacon had ignition problems and had to surrender his seventh starting spot. Bodine led Leary and Seavey early on. Thomas was on the move taking third from Seavey on lap two. Grant came to a stop after contact with Ballou three laps in. Bodine led Leary, Thomas, Seavey and Thorson back to green. On lap seven, Leary found his way by Bodine for the lead, while Thorson moved up to third. Thorson would get by Bodine for second on lap ten, and Thomas followed him into third a lap later. By lap 14, the leaders were in lapped traffic. Thomas got over the top of turn three on lap 22, kept third, but Windom gained ground on him and passed him on lap 24. With five laps to go a three-car melee involving Bodine, Mattox and Grant brought yellow. S. Cottle was on the move, gaining fourth from Thomas on the restart. Thomas recaptured the spot with three to go, but with 29 laps down, contact from Thomas sidelined Cottle on the frontstretch. A green, white, checker finish ensued. Thorson shot a slidejob that saw Leary go over the turn two berm. Thorson went on to win, while Windom took the second spot. Leary took exception in an emotional Victory Lane scene. Sussex was the hard-charger.
