Kerry Madsen (6th car out) set quick time on the 3/8-mile banked oval at 12.888 seconds.  David Gravel (13th car out) was second quick, followed by Carson Macedo (23rd), Brad Sweet (7th), Sheldon Haudenschild (15th), Ayrton Gennetten (9th), Gio Scelzi (16th), James McFadden (17th), Aaron Reutzel (2nd) and Donny Schatz (18th).  Logan Schuchart suffered ignition issues in hot laps and had to make a motor change.  He did not get a time in, nor did Noah Gass.

Heat one (started): 1. Madsen 14 (1) 2. Sweet 49 (2) 3. Scelzi 18 (3) 4. Kraig Kinser 11K (5) 5. Schatz 15 (4) 6. Riley Goodno 22 (8) 7. Josh Schneiderman 49J (7) 8. Tasker Phillips 7TAZ (6)

8 laps was the distance in the heats, taking the top two to the Dash (all transferred to the feature, lining up by heat finish).  Phillips exited early.  Madsen led the distance, while Sweet and Scelzi had a good battle for second.  Kinser and Schatz also had a good race for fourth.

Heat two (started): 1. Gravel 2 (1) 2. Haudenschild 17 (2) 3. McFadden 9 (3) 4. Jacob Allen 1a (4) 5. Jason Sides 7s (6) 6. Wayne Johnson 2c (5) 7. Chris Martin 44 (7) DNS – Noah Gass 20G

This one was mostly a single-file affair.

Heat three (started): 1. Macedo 41 (1) 2. Gennetten 3 (2) 3. Reutzel 83 (3) 4. Brian Brown 21 (4) 5. Logan Schuchart 1s (8) 6. Brent Marks 19 (5) 7. Bobby Mincer 15M (7) 8. Brock Zearfoss 3z (6)

Macedo led throughout.  Zearfoss came to a stop at the halfway point and was done.  Brown took fourth from Marks on the restart, while Schuchart came from the tail to pass Marks for fifth with two to go.

A rain delay of about an hour ensued before the 305 heats commenced.

Dash (started): 1. Macedo (1) 2. Haudenschild (2) 3. Sweet (4) 4. Gravel (5) 5. Madsen (6) 6. Gennetten (3)

Macedo led Haudenschild flag to flag.  Gennetten was running fourth on the second lap when he got crossed up in turn one, but saved it, only to lose two spots.

A main (started): 1. Sweet (3) 2. Macedo (1) 3. Gravel (4) 4. Madsen (5) 5. Scelzi (7) 6. Reutzel (9) 7. McFadden (8) 8. Haudenschild (2) 9. Schatz (13) 10. Brown (12) 11. Schuchart (15) 12. Schneiderman (19) 24. Gass (23)

The 30-lapper saw Macedo leading Haudenschild and Sweet early.  The leaders hit lapped traffic on the fourth circuit, and on lap six, Sweet shot by Haudenschild for the second spot.  Schneiderman spun ten laps in for the only caution of the event.  Mincer also spun to avoid.  Macedo took the inside line on the double-file restart over Sweet, Haudenschild, Gravel, Madsen and McFadden.  On lap 14, Gravel was able to drive under Haudenschild for the third spot.  Sweet worked by Macedo in turn four on the 17th lap, but his lead would only be one circuit when Macedo stormed back by coming out of two.  Four laps later turn two belonged to Sweet again and he took the point for good.  Meanwhile, Haudenschild reclaimed third from Gravel in a great battle, but David would ride back by on lap 24.  On lap 29, Haudenschild’s top five run came to an end with a 360 spin in turn four.  Things stayed green and Sweet beat everyone for his tenth WoO win of the season.  Marks was the hard-charger.
