Sheldon Haudenschild (19th car out to time) broke the track record by turning the first sub-ten second lap in the history of the quarter-mile at 9.990 seconds. Other tracks that have hosted WoO events to sub-ten second laps are US36 Raceway, Bloomington Speedway, Placerville Speedway, I-55 Raceway, Cottage Grove Speedway and River Cities Speedway. David Gravel (7th car out) was second quick, followed by former track record holder Aaron Reutzel (22nd), Brad Sweet (24th), Rico Abreu (2nd), Kyle Larson (16th), Logan Schuchart (1st), Parker Price-Miller (3rd), Jacob Allen (14th) and Carson Macedo (11th). Brayton Lynch had an issue in hot laps and didn’t get a time in. Joe B. Miller scratched after time trials.
Heat one (started): 1. Haudenschild 17 (1) 2. Sweet 49 (2) 3. Macedo 41 (4) 4. Schuchart 1s (3) 5. Kraig Kinser 11K (5) 6. Robert Ballou 96 (9) / 7. Garet Williamson 24w (6) 8. Zach Daum 5D (8) 9. Andy Bishop 42 (7)
10 lap heats took the top two to the Dash, and top six to the feature. Haudenschild led the distance, with the only shake-up in the event happening after Bishop got upside down in turn one two laps in. He was ok. Macedo snagged third from Schuchart on the restart, while Ballou worked by Williamson for the final transfer.

The top five were set from the jump. Sides and Goodno put on a good battle for the final transfer, with Sides’ transfer pass coming on the low side of three and four with two to go.
Heat three (started): 1. Larson 57 (2) 2. Reutzel 83 (1) 3. James McFadden 9 (6) 4. Allen 1a (3) 5. Tim Kaeding 14 (7) 6. Zach Hampton 35 (5) / 7. Brock Zearfoss 3z (4) 8. Jacob Patton 79J (9) 9. Mason Daniel 33m (8)
Larson led the distance. McFadden claimed third from Allen on lap two. Hampton used the high side to get by Zearfoss for the sixth and final transfer on lap three.
Dash (started): 1. Sweet (2) 2. Haudenschild (1) 3. Gravel (4) 4. Larson (6) 5. Abreu (3) 6. Reutzel (5)
The 8-lap Dash set up the first three rows of the feature. Larson shot around Abreu and Reutzel on lap one to claim fourth. Sweet got the jump on Haudenschild and led all the way.
B main (started): 1. Zearfoss (1) 2. Daum (4) 3. Goodno (2) 4. Williamson (3) 5. Schneiderman (5) 6. Daniel (8) / 7. Lynch (7) 8. Patton (6)

A main (started): 1. Sweet (1) 2. Schatz (8) 3. Gravel (3) 4. Macedo (7) 5. Abreu (5) 6. Allen (12) 7. Kaeding (15) 8. Schuchart (10) 9. Haudenschild (2) 10. Reutzel (6) 11. Kinser (13) 12. Zearfoss (19) 13. McFadden (9) 14. Daniel (24) 15. Sides (17) 16. Daum (20) 17. Price-Miller (11) 18. Goodno (21) 19. Hampton (18) 20. Larson (4) 21. Johnson (14) 22. Schneiderman (23) 23. Williamson (22) 24. Ballou (16)
The 40-lap feature saw Haudenschild leading Sweet, Larson and Gravel early. Hampton contacted another car, spun and collected Ballou, who was done two laps in. Price-Miller visited the work area at the same time. Haudenschild chose the inside line over Sweet, Larson, Gravel and Reutzel. Macedo moved into fifth on the restart, Reutzel was into fifth by lap five and McFadden was into sixth. Hampton clipped Williamson on lap eight in a battle for 16th, sending him into the wall and off on a hook. Haudenschild again chose the inside line, but it bit him this time as Sweet took the point, and Gravel moved into third. McFadden shot by Larson for fourth on lap 10. The leaders were into lapped traffic by lap 14. Larson tagged the wall and lost a spot to Macedo on lap 22. On the lap 28, Haudenschild used the low side by Sweet to regain the lead. Macedo moved up to third. Johnson hit a rut in turn two and flipped on lap 29. Reutzel, McFadden and Schuchart, who were running sixth, eighth and ninth were collected. No one was hurt. This time, Haudenschild chose the outside on the double-file restart and he kept the lead until suffering a flat right rear with eight to go. Sweet inherited the lead, ahead of Macedo, Gravel, Larson and Schatz. Macedo shot to the lead, while Larson made a move on his brother-in-law Sweet for second. It was an ill-fate slide job that broadsided Sweet. Sweet kept it going, but Larson retired. Since a lap was not completed by all, Seet again assumed the point. Gravel shot into second when the green fell again, while Macedo faded a few spots. Schatz was on the move as well late, and got by Gravel for second with three to go, only to have it negated by an inadvertent yellow. He would make the pass again coming for the white flag before Hampton spun, setting up a green, white, checker finish. Schatz passed Sweet after the green flag, but Sweet was back in front by the time he took the white flag. He held on to win it. Daniel was the hard-charger.
