Donny Schatz (17th car to time) set the standard in qualifications with a lap of 15.661 seconds on a quickly drying surface. Joey Saldana (13th) was second quick, followed by Kraig Kinser (10th), Steve Kinser (43rd), Daryn Pittman (6th), Brooke Tatnell (1st), Danny Lasoski (33rd), Brian Brown (12th), Jonathan Allard (7th), and Jac Haudenschild (22nd). Tyler Houseman had no time, and Lynton Jeffrey in a Terry McCarl backup registered one lap due to motor problems. Don Droud Jr. and Kurt Winker, in the Robuck 12 were scratches after time trials due to engine woes.

Heat one (started): 1. Craig Dollansky 7 (1) 2. Schatz 15 (6) 3. Johnny Herrera 2w (2) 4. Jason Sides 7s (7) 5. Stevie Smith 19 (8) / 6. Shane Stewart 4m (11) 7. Jesse Giannetto D1 (9) 8. Dollansky led the distance. Allard was running fifth on lap five, when he broke a wheel. Stewart who had charged up into sixth and was putting pressure on, ran over some of the debris and blew his right rear. He restarted at the tail, but Allard suffered extensive damage and was done for the night. Henderson was disqualified after crossing the line fourth when he lost his muffler. Sides made the pass for what would become fourth, when he moved around Smith with two to go. Stewart would surge back by six cars in the final three laps, but fall a spot short of a transfer.

Heat two (started): 1. Tim Shaffer 83 (2) 2. Kerry Madsen 82 (3) 3. Lasoski 20 (5) 4. Colin Northway 60 (1) 5. Mark Kinser 5m (7) / 6. Haudenschild 5 (4) 7. Randy Martin 14 (6) 8. Cram and Walker got together as the green flag dropped, sending Walker upside down and to the B. Cram led for good after the race was restarted. Paulus moved up into a transfer nicely, using the cushion to get by K. Kinser and then Shepard.

Heat four (started): 1. Larry Ball Jr. 1s (2) 2. S. Kinser 11 (6) 3. Randy Hannagan 1x (1) 4. PJ Chesson 76 (3) 5. Terry McCarl 24 (5) / 6. Skip Jackson 21x (4) 7. Tim St. Arnold 7sx (7) 8. Adam West 20A (9) 9. Ricky Logan 17G (8) 10. Jeff Johnson 11J (10) DNS - Pittman 21, Droud 55, Brent Antill 1, Robert Bell 71x

Pittman fried an engine trying to catch up to the field in the pace lap. J. Johnson took his mount pitside after stopping to bring out a caution on lap three. Hannagan led until the race was slowed again, when Logan stopped and exited on lap five. Ball drove by Hannagan on the restart and was never headed. The best race on the track was between Chesson, McCarl and Jackson. They swapped positions a couple of times with some close racing.

C feature (started): 1. Frey (4) 2. Beckman (1) / 3. St. Arnold (3) 4. Moore (8) 5. Hodgson (6) 6. West (9) 7. Agan (10) 8. Jones (12) 9. Stewart (2) 10. Garner (7) 11. Houseman (11) 12. J. Johnson (5) DNS - Antill, Bell, Menard, Jeffrey, Winker

Garner spun on the initial start, while J. Johnson exited. Houseman went pitside before Garner spun again on lap two and was shown his trailer. Agan spun on that restart. Once underway, Stewart dominated, opening up a five second cushion. In turns three and four on the final circuit, his motor let go, ending his night. Frey inherited the win.

Dash one (started): 1. Madsen (1) 2. Schatz (4) 3. Tatnell (3) 4. Landis (2) 5. Shaffer (5) 6. Dollansky (8) 7. Mitrisin (7) 8. Ball (6)

Madsen held off a determined Schatz for the popular win. The finish determined the inside of the first eight rows of the feature.

Dash two (started): 1. Lasoski (3) 2. Herrera (1) 3. S. Kinser (4) 4. Hannagan (6) 5. Chesson (2) 6. Cram (5) 7. Sides (8) 8. Northway (7)

Lasoski took the lead shortly after the green flew, and cruised to the win with
Herrera in tow.

B feature (started): 1. Saldana (1) 2. K. Kinser (2) 3. Walker (8) 4. Pittman (3)  5. Brown (4) 6. Shepard (10) 7. Henderson (7) 8. Jackson (5) 9. Giannetto (14) 10. Haudenschild (6) 11. This would have been a great A feature on any given night. The non-stop affair saw the top four separate themselves from the pack, but not each other. K. Kinser made a serious bid to pass Saldana before lapped traffic came into play. Walker was a rocket.

A feature (started): 1. Lasoski (2) 2. Schatz (3) 3. S. Kinser (6) 4. Shaffer (9)  5. Tatnell (5) 6. Cram (12) 7. Dollansky (11) 8. Madsen (1) 9. Herrera (4) 10. Chesson (10) 11. Walker (20) 12. M. Kinser (21) 13. Saldana (17) 14. Pittman (19) 15. Landis (7) 16. McCarl (22) 17. Hannagan (8) 18. K. Kinser (18) 19. Mitrisin (13) 20. Paulus (24) 21. Sides (14) 22. Smith (23) 23. Ball (15) 24. Northway (16)

Lasoski led after a lap two pass of Madsen. Sides did a great job of keeping his car going after he did a 360 in turn one on lap one. Great racing back through the pack. Walker was on the move early and moved up into the top seven. Furious racing saw Madsen holding off Dollansky for fifth, when Dollansky rammed him in trying to get by on lap 23. This jolted Madsen, and resulted in Walker spinning to avoid contact. This sent Walker to the rear where he would finish 11th, still sharing hard-charger honors with M. Kinser. Tatnell and Cram used lapped traffic to their advantage as they slid by Dollansky and Madsen on the last lap to capture fifth and sixth, respectively.
